Microsoft® Exchange 2010 will provide extended functionality to the already feature-rich Exchange 2007 offering in the areas of voice messaging, archiving, and message management, along with numerous other productivity enhancements. To prepare for the transition to Exchange 2010, ITUtility.NET has upgraded its Control Panel to support multiple versions of Exchange, enabling a seamless migration to the new version of Exchange. The ITUtility.NET Control Panel will clearly identify the version used by a hosted company and allow ITUtility.NET Partners to manage clients across both versions of Exchange.
The ITUtility.NET software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering includes free migrations for ITUtility.NET clients to newer versions of Exchange. ITUtility.NET performs the migrations on behalf of our Partners, working with them to ensure as seamless a migration as possible for their customers. ITUtility.NET pricing for hosted Exchange does not change as new versions are introduced. This feature ensures pricing remains flat, offering predictable costing for our Partners to pass on to their customers, simplifying IT budget planning.
Microsoft has not announced an official release date for the hosted version of Exchange 2010, but in preparation for its release ITUtility.NET will test and prepare for the launch of Exchange 2010 to the hosting community. ITUtility.NET will be ready to offer Exchange 2010 to customers once the hosted version, with the appropriate features and functionality for multitenancy, has been incorporated and fully tested. Microsoft is planning to release this version sometime in 2010. Until that time, ITUtlity.NET will continue to offer its proven hosted Exchange 2007 service that customers rely on for mission-critical e-mail communication needs. Many of the new end-user benefits offered by Exchange are incorporated into the Outlook® 2010 client, which ITUtility.NET will offer immediately to customers when it becomes commercially available.
